A Day in the Life: Academic Morning

Academic Block 1 (8:30 AM 10:30 AM)

Students tackle two core subjects in focused 60-minute intervals, chosen based on their personalized learning pathway

  • First Hour: Could be Math-solving pre-algebra problems via interactive whiteboard tools, receiving instant Al feedback on each step.

  • Second Hour: Perhaps Language Arts -analyzing a Somali folktale, annotating themes, and drafting paragraph responses in the digital writing lab.

Throughout, Salim™, our virtual tutor, offers real-time hints and encouragement, while Murabi coaches monitor analytics to jump into breakout rooms for targeted support.

Break & Salah (10:30 AM 11:00 AM)

A 30-minute break allows students to pray Dhuhr (if Salah time arrives) or simply stretch, have a healthy snack, and reset their focus.

Academic Block 2 (11:00 AM 1:00 PM)

Another sequence of two 30-minute lessons keeps momentum:

  • Science Exploration: Conducting a virtual chemistry lab simulation-mixing reagents, observing reactions, and logging results in an interactive notebook.

  • Arabic & Tajweed Clinic: Small-group online session with an Arabic specialist, where students practice pronunciation, reading fluency, and Quranic tajweed rules with peer feedback.

A Day in the Life: Afternoon Activities

Lunch & Family Connection (1:00 PM -2:00 PM)

Students enjoy lunch with family, sharing midday reflections. Parents can use this time to review the dashboard's midday report-seeing mastery percentages and any coach-recommended focus areas for the

afternoon.

Afternoon Salah & Reflection (3:30 PM 4:00 PM)

Time for Asr prayer, followed by a short guided mindfulness activity linking Suhbah principles to daily life-encouraging gratitude, empathy, and personal accountability.

Project-Based Learning (2:00 PM - 3:30 PM)

Once a week, this block transforms into a collaborative project: for example, designing a service project that addresses a community need-like planning a Ramadan food drive. Teams use digital whiteboards and document collaboration tools to outline goals, assign tasks, and prepare presentations.

A Day in the Life: Evening Conclusion

Enrichment & Electives (4:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

Students choose from a rotating menu of elective workshops-public speaking practice, coding basics, or Islamic art and calligraphy sessions-led by community experts. This hour fosters passions beyond core academics and builds confidence.

Review & Wrap-Up (5:00 PM 5:30 PM)

Before logging off, learners spend thirty minutes reviewing the day's lessons via revision quizzes generated by the Al engine. They bookmark challenging topics for coach follow-up and earn badges for streaks of completed tasks.

Family Debrief & Evening Dua (5:30 PM 6:00 PM)

The day concludes with Maghrib prayer followed by a family debrief: sharing successes, discussing tomorrow's goals, and reciting evening duas together. Parents see a final end-of-day progress snapshot, celebrating achievements and identifying next steps.
